Motorcycle Paramedic Airmix™ Advanced - The Motorcycle kit is developed for Paramedics requiring a lightweight and compact solution. Airmix™ extends the oxygen duration.

microVENT® Advanced Airmix™ offers the following outstanding features:

  • All the controls for the microVENT® are in the handset, so you can observe and care for your patient as you control the ventilation they require.
  • microVENT® drive gas consumption is negligible, so you can be confident that the oxygen you use is contributing to patient care, not to driving your ventilator.
  • The microVENT® is small and light, so it can easily be carried in a compact resuscitation kit.
  • microVENT® is a time / volume cycled resuscitator - the type recommended for emergency use.
  • The microVENT® can be set to automatic - and the prescribed tidal volume and frequency will be applied, consistently and tirelessly.
  • When required microVENT® can be manually operated using the finger tip trigger, enabling hyperventilation or timing with external cardiac massage in CPR.
  • microVENT® Adult/Child units have a easy to use slide control on the handset. Settings can be prescribed for children from 20kgs to adult.
  • The microVENT® Advanced products are fitted with an Anti-Inhalation Valve which function with the patient respiratory assist for safety in toxic atmospheres. (Airmix™ must be set to 100% oxygen if used in toxic atmosphere).
  • microVENT® patient respiratory assist feature offers more respiratory support than a simple demand valve system, but still offers more comfort for a spontaneously breathing patient. A patients respiratory effort will trigger the microVENT's inflations allowing spontaneous breathing at the pre-prescribed volume helping ensure adequate gas exchange even with a patient whose respiratory efforts are of inadequate volume.
  • One of the limiting factors in resuscitation is the availability of oxygen. The microVENT® Airmix™ enables even longer resuscitation times from an oxygen cylinder by allowing the user to prescribe Airmix™. The Airmix™ feature enables the oxygen supply to last over twice as long, by entraining atmospheric air. When enabled this delivers an air/oxygen mix to the casualty with a 50% oxygen concentration. If needed 100% oxygen can be prescribed at the slide of a button. This combines extended ease of use with the proven advantages of consistent ventilation volume and frequency to the values set by the user.

The microVENT® is deployed in a winning combination with the following contents:

  • Lightweight microVENT® case that is padded for protection and contains pockets to contain your resuscitation equipment and accessories. This special case is designed to fit in the motorcycle pannier, and may be modified or redesigned to user requirements. (Price may vary according to specification and quantity required).
  • Matching lightweight case for equipment storage in the other pannier.
