1. Powerful reinforced engineering plastic, injection molded to form the tough microvent® body, lid and pressure relief cap.

2. Selector switch, choose between automatic time cycled resuscitation or oxygen powered manually controlled resuscitation.

3. Slider control to adjust tidal volume and frequency. Positioned to be immediately visible while the microvent® is in use.

4. Pressure relief valve and audible warning (overventilation / obstruction).

5. Manual trigger for oxygen powered manually controlled resuscitation. Easily accessible while still holding the resuscitation mask with a two handed grip.

6. Calibration labeling shows settings for the slider controlling automatic time cycled resuscitation.
