The compact size and lightweight strength make microvent® products ideal for rescue work where equipment may have to be carried long distances or used in situations where access is restricted. One of the limiting factors in resuscitation is the availability of oxygen. The microvent® Airmix™ enables even longer resuscitation times from an oxygen cylinder by allowing the user to prescribe Airmix™. The Airmix™ feature enables the oxygen supply to last over twice as long, by entraining atmospheric air. When enabled this delivers an air/oxygen mix to the casualty with a 50% oxygen concentration. If needed 100% oxygen can be prescribed at the slide of a button. This combines extended ease of use with the proven advantages of consistent ventilation volume and frequency to the values set by the user. The advantage to the rescuer is that by combining modern technologies a lightweight and compact automatic resuscitation solution is available. .

8) Oxygen supply hose 2m length. Reinforced to resist kinking yet supple to allow easy positioning. 7) Clear patient valve body enables easy view to check inside for contamination. 360 swivel connector helps prevent accidental disconnects and makes positioning the resuscitator to the patient easier. 15/22 mm connector allows attachment of standard resuscitation facemasks, ET tubes etc. 6) Calibration labelling shows settings for the slider controlling automatic time cycled resuscitation. 5) Manual trigger for oxygen powered manually controlled resuscitation. Easily accessible while still holding the resuscitation mask with a two handed grip. 4) Pressure relief valve and audible warning (overventilation / obstruction). 3) Slider control to adjust tidal volume and frequency. Positioned to be immediately visible while the microvent® is in use. 2) Selector switch, choose between automatic time cycled resuscitation or oxygen powered manually controlled resuscitation. 1) Powerful reinforced engineering plastic, injection moulded to form the tough microvent® body, lid and pressure relief cap.
