No one wants to resuscitate a casualty in a potentially unbreathable atmosphere, but sometimes it is unavoidable. Microvent® Advanced models are fitted with an anti-air-entrainment valve which prevents a patient from breathing in ambient "air" which may contain harmful matter. However if a patient should attempt to inhale with a microvent® Advanced, the patient assist takes over - allowing the patient to breath a lung full of clean oxygen. This is explained in more detail on the next page. The option of an anti-air-entrainment valve makes the microvent® even more versatile in its use. Customers include Ambulance Services, Fire Services, Chemical Manufacturers, Utilities and other Industrial Users.
